GUIDELINES FOR ARTICLE SUBMISSIONS

Our subscribers have come to depend on EOS USA as their source of clear educational information. All articles submitted for consideration must meet the following criteria:

Style

Articles should be written from an EOS educator’s point-of-view. Articles must be educational, comprehensive and positive. Articles must not contain any profanity. All profanity will be taken out solely on the editor’s decision. Overall, the content must remain educational in nature. Press releases, new projects, industry profiles and news items related to EOS will be considered for inclusion.

Articles must not be slanted against a particular segment of the trade. Support your hypothesis based on documented facts about your subject; theory must be able to stand on its own merits, without referring negatively to other industry services, procedures or products. Please include research and other reference materials that support any claims.

Specifications

Articles should be approximately 500 to 1,000 words and may be submitted without request. Sidebars and quotes are a plus. All articles should be submitted electronically through the form below or uploaded as an attachment if preferred.

Articles should include quality images, graphs or charts when available. Electronic images should be uploaded in JPEG, PNG or GIF format. Any photo credits and/or identification of subjects or techniques shown in photographs are required.

Ancillary Items

The following items should be provided with your first article submission:

  1. Author’s biography (including contact information for readers) with maximum word count of 100; submissions exceeding this word count will be edited with the editor’s discretion.

  2. A professional color head-shot of the author in digital format.
